Hope St Productions is a film production house based in Perth, Western Australia working across drama, documentary and music video. We have been making original, innovative and authentic films together since 2014. Though we like to explore different experiences, genres and formats (including 16mm film) there is a distinctive approach that weaves through all that we do.

Tim Barretto and Melanie Filler are the husband-and-wife duo at the helm of Hope St Productions. We have developed a unique and collaborative approach to filmmaking over many years together. We have a network of close collaborators in Western Australia, New South Wales, and around Indonesia, and are always interested in working with fresh talent and discovering new stories.
